In Memory of My Mom Rosa Maria to Help Others
Rosa Maria Castilleja was diagnosed with breast cancer October 2006. She ran as survivor/patient in 2006, and fought a battle of 2 years that she lost Dec. 16 2008 at the age of 49.
In honor of her legacy our family runs each year since 2006 to support all Breast Cancer patients, survivors and honor those who lost their battle. I personally want to thank you for your continuous support!! My Mom was truly an inspiration to many with so much STRENGTH, LOVE AND HOPE!
One in eight women will be stricken with breast cancer in her lifetime. The Komen Houston Race for the Cure® raises money to fund education, screening and treatment programs for these women and thousands of others in our own community and supports national cutting-edge research in hopes of finding the cures.
I AM RUNNING in MEMORY OF My Mom: Rosa Maria Castilleja
Every year is special, not only because her and I share the same August 29th birthday... but because with each Komen Race, each year we help save more lives!! I do this in honor of my Mother, a woman of such strong character that I will never forget.
Join me to honor her to raise awareness and help FIND A CURE! Remember to submit your employee match donation forms, where applicable!
Together, with your help, we are saving lives!
