Celebrate Molly’s “20th” Anniversary!
“It’s hard to believe it has been twenty years ago that I heard the words, you have breast cancer… I can remember just like yesterday... When receiving my second breast cancer diagnosis in 2005, I decided to get involved with Komen Houston. The past twelve years have been incredible and I’ve met so many wonderful women and men that have walked in my shoes…. I treasure each and every person that I’ve met through my experiences.”
Molly has been on the Pink Honor Roll the past twelve years; raising over $241,000. “Getting involved through fund raising is very rewarding! It is such a great feeling to know the impact this will have on someone’s life! The best part is that 75% of all dollars will stay in Houston to fund grants awarded to breast health organizations.”
Molly is co-chairing the race this year for the 27th annual Komen Race and serves on Komen Houston’s Board of Directors. She co-chaired the 20th Anniversary Komen Race in 2010 along with her two sisters; co-chaired the Survivor Party during 2011; and was Auction Chair for the Komen Houston 25th Anniversary Gala.
As team captain for Molly’s Posse, she would like to invite anyone who needs a team to join to sign up and join her on race day!!
“Thank you to my wonderful husband Greg, my best friends and sisters Brenda and Sandra, and my mother Linda for their continued love and support.”
Hope you'll join me this year!
